Ms. Alemka Berliner is the new, and also returning, Executive Director of Tashkent International Clinic. Ms. Berliner worked as an internationalization and localization manager at Computer Vision and Parametric Technology Corporations in Massachusetts from where she managed teams in the US, India, Japan, and Germany. After obtaining a graduate degree, Ms. Berliner continued her work internationally in Croatia, Uzbekistan, the Republic of Georgia, and Belgium. Her work was in both clinical and educational settings, acting as a counselor, teacher, manager, coach/organizational effectiveness consultant, and director. She developed and conducted workshops on a number of topics, such as conflict management, quality processes and procedures, communication in clinical settings, and customer service.
Ms. Berliner served as the Executive Director of Tashkent International Clinic for four years (2009-2012), and in subsequent years returned to Uzbekistan several times as a consultant providing TIC and TIHES Board orientations and the clinic’s staff training.
Ms. Berliner’s graduate degree is in Counseling and Personnel Services from University of Maryland, College Park, and she also a diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy. She is a Licensed Professional Therapist in Virginia and Missouri in the United States.
Nodira has 20 years of working experience at TIC, starting with reception and currently as the Chief Operating Officer. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics and her Master’s in English Philology in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Nodira was awarded a PG Diploma in Hospital Administration from Medvarsity Online Limited & Apollo Hospitals Education and Research Foundation based in Hyderabad, India, and also completed a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Dr. Inom has been practicing with TIC for 11 years. Holding a degree in Pediatrics, he specialized in emergency medicine, family medicine, outpatient surgical procedures, and ultrasound investigations. As well as having completed ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS training, Dr. Inom is a panel physician for UK, Canada, Korea, US, Israel, and New Zealand immigration programs.
Dr. Leyla has 11 years of experience with TIC and is also a panel physician for UK, US, and Israel immigration programs. As well as having specialized in family medicine, Dr. Leyla trained for additional skills in pediatrics, dermatology, and OBGYN, and completed training for ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
Dr. Dmitriy received his diploma as a General Practitioner and went on to specialize in internal medicine and general practice, as well as training for additional skills in echocardiography, basic ULS, and Holter EKG. Dr. Dmitriy has 9 years of experience working with TIC and is a panel physician for UK, Canada, Korea, US, Israel, and New Zealand immigration programs. He has also completed training for ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
