CSR Awards Ceremony – 2022!

On October 17, AmCham Uzbekistan held the first CSR Awards Ceremony!

The goal of the award is to raise awareness on CSR projects implemented by our member companies and to highlight the impact they are having on all aspects of society, including economic, social, and environmental.

• AmCham Uzbekistan has awarded 15 CSR projects in the environment, women empowerment, care, education, and social innovation categories, among which 5 were implemented as part of the activities of the AmCham CSR Committee.
• The event officially started with the opening remarks by:
• Marisa Lago, US Department of Commerce, Under Secretary for International Trade
• Sodiq Safoyev, First Deputy Chairperson of the Senate
• Paul Poletes, Chargé d’Affaires, US Embassy Tashkent
• Oybek Khalilov, AmCham Uzbekistan President

During the opening ceremony, the importance of bilateral relations and investment opportunities between the US and Uzbekistan was emphasized.

The First CSR Award Ball was attended by 250 participants including US delegation, government officials, AmCham members and IFIs representatives.
Tashkent International Clinic had an honor to be a sponsor of the ceremony and was awarded in nomination of Environmental initiatives. TIC team and Board support CSR initiatives already 20 years from the establishing of TIHES.
